Job summary

ClearSky Health in Lancaster, OH is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to join a patient-centered care team. You will assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice and swallowing disorders, and guide patients through discharge as part of a collaborative clinical team.

This PRN role requires Masters in SLP, state licensure, BLS/CPR, and CCCs or CFY status. You’ll work day shifts as needed with emphasis on quality care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• CCC/CFY status or CCC-CF status required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans, with ongoing assessment and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support goals and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring safety and infection prevention standards.

The Role - What You’ll Do

Our Speech pathologists deliver care aligned with our patient centered values assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of speech language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing and fluency disorder through:

• Evaluation of patients and development of individualized treatment plans including ongoing assessment and discharge planning
• Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals and optimize outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, compliant care environment aligned with safety and infection prevention standards

Qualifications - What We’re Looking For

• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
• Current state Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• BLS/CPR Certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year Status is required for this position.

Physical requirements - What you need to know

• A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
• Both gross and precise motor functions.
• Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
• Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
• Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
• Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
