Physical stamina to lift, transfer and assist patients through physical activities. Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50lbs unassisted, including assisting patients when needed.
Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the phone. Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of patient and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
Contact with blood, body fluids and other infectious drainage. Minimal hazards if required Universal Precautions are followed.
