Job summary

Mosaic Life Care at St Joseph Medical Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide inpatient rehabilitation services in a fast-paced environment. This PRN role supports flexible day coverage and weekend/holiday schedules, working 8:00am-4:30pm, with emphasis on patient-centered care and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, an active SLP license with ASHA certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in an acute or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
  • CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
