Job summary

Lakeside Health & Wellness announces an in-house Rehabilitation Program and seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our facility on a PRN basis. You will work within our new Rehabilitation Team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered speech therapy services.

Candidates must hold a Texas license and have a degree in Speech Language Pathology, with strong communication and teamwork skills. EMR experience is preferred, and the role emphasizes autonomy and compassionate care within

• Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Cares for people and provides outstanding patient care.
• Has a passion for therapy and teaching with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Texas
• Graduate of a Speech Language Program from an accredited university
• (Truly cares for people and will go above and beyond to provide outstanding patient care
• Has a passion for therapy and teaching and who has outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and non-verbal)
• Who is autonomous and self-motivated
• Believes in a team approach to problem solving and care
• Freely shares their ideas and visions and stands up for what they believe in and loves having a positive impact on patient's lives
• Knowledge of Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care regulations and general healthcare compliance
• (Preferred but not required) Experience with EMR
