Job summary

Lakeside Health and Wellness is expanding its IN-HOUSE Rehabilitation Program and seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our facility on a PRN basis. You will provide expert therapy services and contribute to high-quality post-acute care within a collaborative team.

Texas-licensed SLP with a passion for teaching and excellent communication skills will thrive in our patient-centered environment, delivering compassionate care and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas.
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Passionate about therapy and patient care with strong communication skills.
• Autonomous and self-motivated with team-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care regulations and healthcare compliance.
• Experience with EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Language Pathology services within an in-house rehabilitation program.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Speech Language Pathologistlicense in the State of Texas


• Graduate of a Speech Language Program from an accredited university


• (Truly cares for people and will go above and beyond to provide outstanding patient care


• Has a passion for therapy and teaching and who has outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and non-verbal)


• Who is autonomous and self-motivated


• Believes in a team approach to problem solving and care


• Freely shares their ideas and visions and stands up for what they believe in and loves having a positive impact on patient's lives


• Knowledge of Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care regulations and general healthcare compliance


• (Preferred but not required) Experience with EMR
