What you will do in this role:

• Perform patient assessments
• Provide care in accordance with physician’s orders and established plans of care
• Assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify it to achieve goals
• Plan for patient discharge and communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members to achieve rehabilitation goals and promote maximum benefits of care
• Participate in performance improvement and program development activities
• Contribute to budgetary planning, focusing on the cost-effectiveness of services and programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similar fields accepted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible for ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
