Job summary

Benchmark Therapies, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Asbury Solomons in Solomons, MD. This Part-Time & PRN role focuses on evaluations and individualized therapy for older adults to maintain communication and quality of life.

The position requires a graduate of an accredited SLP program and an active PA license; ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred. Flexible scheduling supports a collaborative interdisciplinary team at a senior care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop and provide individualized treatment based on resident needs and goals
• Help residents maintain communication abilities, cognitive function, safe swallowing, independence and quality of life
• Support residents in staying connected to meaningful conversations, relationships and activities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems
• Contribute to a positive and supportive therapy environment

Speech-Language Pathologist Part-Time & PRN Asbury Solomons | Solomons, MD Benchmark Therapies is looking for PRN & Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team at Asbury Solomons in Solomons, MD.

This would be a great fit for an SLP who enjoys working with older adults and wants to help residents stay connected, confident, and involved in the people and activities that matter most to them.

What You’ll Do

• Complete speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop and provide individualized treatment based on each resident’s needs and goals
• Help residents maintain communication abilities, cognitive function, safe swallowing, independence, and quality of life
• Support residents in staying connected to meaningful conversations, relationships, and activities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems
• Contribute to a positive and supportive therapy environment

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
