Benchmark Therapies, Inc. invites a Speech-Language Pathologist to join Asbury Solomons in Solomons, MD as a part-time PRN clinician.

You’ll evaluate and treat residents, focusing on communication, swallowing safety, and quality of life, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and documenting care in facility systems. The role emphasizes flexibility, reliability, and teamwork, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• A genuine interest in working with older adults.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A flexible, dependable, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop and provide individualized treatment based on each resident’s needs and goals
• Help residents maintain communication abilities, cognitive function, safe swallowing, independence, and quality of life
• Support residents in staying connected to meaningful conversations, relationships, and activities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems
• Contribute to a positive and supportive therapy environment
