BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist, SLP for a Part-Time or Per Diem opportunity performing home health visits throughout Calvert County.

This role involves seeing approximately 15-20 clients per week during weekday hours (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.). Prior home care experience is a plus but not required. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitative and skilled nursing care to enable clients to stay at home.

Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits to clients in designated areas.
2. Perform evaluations, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
3. Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician’s orders.
4. Participate in multidisciplinary care planning.
5. Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities.
6. Document all observations and interventions accurately using electronic records.

Qualifications:

1. Current Maryland license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
2. ASHA certification or equivalent educational and work experience, with pending certification exam.
3. Strong computer skills; experience with EMR preferred.
