BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist, SLP for a Part-Time or Per Diem opportunity providing home health visits throughout Calvert County.

This Part-Time role involves seeing approximately 15-20 clients weekly during hours 8:30 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Prior home care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is a plus but not required. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitative and skilled nursing care to help clients remain at home.

Responsibilities:

• Make home visits in designated areas.
• Perform evaluations, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations, physician’s orders, and goals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA or equivalent qualifications, and eligibility to take the ASHA exam.
• Strong computer skills; experience with EMR preferred.
