Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care - Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time travel position. This role involves providing home health services to adult and geriatric clients across Maryland's Visits Division.

This permanent, full-time role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. Assignments are based on divisional needs and may include service areas such as:

• Montgomery County
• Frederick County
• Carroll County
• Howard County
• Washington County

Requirements:

• Home health experience is required.
• Start of Care/OASIS experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Making home visits within designated geographic areas.
• Performing evaluations, diagnosing, and providing therapy for speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
• Developing and revising treatment plans based on evaluations and physician’s orders.
• Participating in multidisciplinary care planning.
• Educating patients and families on rehabilitative activities.
• Documenting patient care accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

• Current MD license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or equivalent educational and work experience, with certification exam pending or in progress.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
