Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem home health position serving adult and geriatric patients in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson counties.

As an SLP, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to help clients remain at home.

Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits within designated areas.
2. Perform evaluations and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
3. Develop and update treatment plans based on evaluations, physician’s orders, and goals.
4. Participate in multidisciplinary care planning.
5. Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities.
6. Accurately document all patient interactions and interventions using electronic devices.

Qualifications:

1. Current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or equivalent education and experience, with pending certification examination.
3. Strong computer skills; experience with EMR preferred.
