Job summary

Hemet Hills Post Acute in Hemet, California, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a multidisciplinary therapy team. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care.

The role emphasizes resident-centered care and documentation accuracy. Starting compensation is $50-55 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support recovery and maximize independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding communication strategies and treatment goals.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.

What You’ll Do

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders

What We're Looking For
