Software Placement Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time on-site role in the Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY area. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• New York State SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Clinical Fellows welcome; could take an experienced CFY (position requires significant autonomy) covering acute care / SNF / OP.
• Ability to assist with lifting and moving patients.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately and on time.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members.
• Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education.
• Support high-quality, person-centered care across the rehab program.

Location: Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY (Finger Lakes) | Schedule: Full-Time, Days, on-site, preferred 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with rotating weekend coverage | Compensation: $35.96–$50.08/hour

A respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation provider in the Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join its care team, evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.
