Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately and on time.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and rehab team members.
• Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education.
• Support high-quality, person-centered care across the rehab program.

Exciting Speech Therapy Position Available:

• Pay: $35.96–$50.08/hour
• Schedule: Full-Time, Days | Preferred 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Rotating weekend coverage
• Location: Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, New York (Finger Lakes)

• A respectedskilled nursing and rehabilitation providerin theWatkins Glen / Montour Falls, NYarea is seeking a full-timeSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP)to join its care team. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients withspeech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disordersin a collaborative, patient-centered setting.Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

• CFs welcome -Could take an experienced CFY (position will also require lots of autonomy) – cover acute care / SNF / OP.
• CCC-SLPpreferred for experienced candidates
• Skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or post-acute experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to assist with lifting and moving patients
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
