Job summary

TriCities Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cumberland, Kentucky, to join a compassionate therapy team delivering high-quality care. The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, personalized treatment plans, and dysphagia management to support geriatric patients.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with KY licensure and ASHA CCC, plus 2+ years in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current SLP with ASHA CCC certification in Kentucky is required.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
