Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and specialize in dysphagia management for our geriatric patient population.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and ASHA CCC certification in the state of Alabama.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred).
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
