Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona. In this role, you will evaluate and treat individuals with speech and swallowing disorders, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families.

Qualifications

How You'll Contribute
  • Evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication.
  • Assess speech, speech, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document and evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.

What We're Looking For
  • A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology that is accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for the Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
  • Minimum of six (6) months speech therapist/speech language pathologist experience working with an adult and geriatric population.
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Rehabilitation or Acute Care experience preferred.
