Centerpoint Health - Georgetown is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The position emphasizes evaluation and treatment of swallowing and speech-language needs, with responsibilities spanning assessments, care planning, patient/family education, discharge planning, and supervision of trainees.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, KY licensure, and BLS within 60 days of hire.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed Speech Therapist; current licensure with KY Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing and speech-language therapy needs.
• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care involving patient and family.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment and progress.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

How you'll contribute

A speech‑language pathologist (SLP)who excels in this role:

• Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech‑language and therapy needs.
• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current master's degree in Speech Language Pathologist. Additional requirements include:

• Education:Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Required
• Licenses:Licensed Speech Therapist;Current licensure with KY Board of Speech‑Language Pathology & Audiology
• Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
