Job summary

Centerpoint Health - Georgetown is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a full-time role, Monday through Friday with holiday and weekend coverage as needed. The SLP will evaluate and treat swallowing and speech-language disorders, perform assessments, devise care plans, educate families, and assist with discharges.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, KY licensure, and BLS within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed Speech Therapist with current KY Board licensure.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.
• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care aligned to identified problems with patient and family involvement.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students and support personnel.
