Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital Bridgeton, MO, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time role in a busy inpatient rehab setting. A minimum of one year of experience in acute care or inpatient rehab is preferred; CFY candidates will be considered if an externship was completed within our network.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and updating treatment plans, coordinating with other clinical services, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• CCC in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA preferred

• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.

• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
• Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

Compensation: $33.66- 45.29 based on experience

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in (acute care or inpatient rehab). CFY candidates will be considered for this position if they have completed an externship placement in our network.

Speech Therapy is compromised in a regional unit, requiring all SLPs to be competent and available to work across both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
