Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing facility team.

This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility and a competitive hourly rate based on experience. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff, and educate patients and families on strategies to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program).
• Valid state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.
