Job summary

Santa Monica Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents within the scope of practice and federal guidelines. This role offers a competitive salary and options for full or part-time work.

Salary ranges from $104,000 to $135,200 with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. Requirements include a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, CA licensure, and Clinical Competency certification; 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California (CA).
• Certification in Clinical Competency is required or preferred.
• One year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Education

Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology

California/state licensure

Certification in Clinical Competency

1 year clinical experience preferred
