Almaden Health and Rehabilitation Center in San Jose, CA is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a salary range of $104,000 to $135,200 per year. Sign-on bonus is available.

The role involves screening, evaluating, and treating residents within regulatory guidelines. Qualifications include a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and CA licensure to practice; CCC and 1 year of clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current California license to practice Speech-Language Pathology; CCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:
