Job summary

Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab, part of the Eden Senior Care network in Wisconsin, is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services on an as-needed basis. Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and an active Wisconsin SLP license, with preference given to those with long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
• Active Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
