Job summary

Therapy and Beyond - ABA Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a clinic-based role in McKinney, TX. The SLP will deliver 1:1 speech-language services to pediatric and adolescent patients, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for ASD, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• ASHA CCC credential preferred.
• Unencumbered Texas state license to practice.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric and adolescent patients with ASD.
• Provide 1:1 direct Speech-Language services in 30-minute sessions.
• Co-treat with Speech Supervisor, BCBAs, OTs, and Clinical Directors.
• Consult with parents and caregivers about treatment and progress.

Job Description

Within this role, our Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) will work in a clinic-based environment, providing exceptional speech-language services to pediatric and adolescent patients!

This role is on-site at our McKinney clinic!

Compensation: By session or salaried compensation + uncapped biweekly bonus potential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assessments/evaluations


• Development of individualized treatment plans for pediatric & adolescent patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)


• Providing 1:1 direct Speech-Language services within 30 minute sessions


• Co-treat with our Speech Supervisor, BCBAs, OTs, and Clinical Directors


• Consult with parents and caregivers on a regular basis to discuss treatment and patient progress

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders


• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred


• Unencumbered license to practice as issued by the Texas state board


• Preferably at least three years of experience working directly with children diagnosed with Autism
