Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education in California seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services in the CA education system. • Current CA SLP license or eligibility.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CA school-based speech-language services ethically and legally.
• Perform assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and IEP teams on service delivery.
• Develop goals aligned with curricular standards.
• Maintain daily therapy logs and data collection.
• Prepare IEP goals supporting curricular standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting ethically and legally defensible CA school-based services
• Conducting appropriate assessments, writing comprehensive evaluation reports
• Consulting and collaborating with Parent/Teacher/IEP Team regarding service delivery
• Targeting modification, accommodation and/or generalization of skills
• Maintaining daily therapy logs, data collection, attendance registers
• IEPs: Writing goals in support of curricular standards
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
