Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients in our Texas clinic. You will screen, assess, and treat to maximize independence and communication goals while adhering to state practice acts.

Qualifications include CCC-SLP from ASHA, CFY with proper supervision, and a current Texas state license, plus strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP from ASHA is required.
• Clinical Fellowship (CFY) with supervision from a certified and licensed SLP.
• Current state licensure in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients in accordance with state guidelines.
• Completes comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for diagnoses, history and precautions.
• Establishes goals and develops treatment plans to maximize independence and function.
• Supervises CFYs, speech interns and rehab technicians in direct patient care.
