Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Golden, CO is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support K–12 students in a school-based setting. This role welcomes CFs and experienced SLPs alike, with strong mentorship and a flexible schedule that can be full-time or part-time.

You will provide therapy services, conduct assessments, develop IEPs, collaborate with teachers and families, and ensure compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Valid Colorado State SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• Colorado CDE Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Golden, CO. You’ll support K–12 students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided.
