Ampersand Therapy is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based positions in Thornton, CO. You will provide speech and language services that directly impact communication, learning, and participation in the school environment.

CFs are encouraged and mentored; W-2 employment with benefits is provided. Roles include assessments, IEP development, collaboration with teachers, and ongoing progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado State SLP license or ability to obtain.
• Colorado CDE Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to ensure carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication, learning, and participation in the school environment. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship and ongoing support provided.
