Job summary

Scoot Education in Riverside seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for yearlong school placements. The position offers a $120,000 annualized salary, W-2 employment with tax withholdings and weekly direct deposit, plus fast onboarding.

Requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or CSD and an active license or CF placement; on-site work in a school setting. You will conduct screenings, evaluations and speech therapy, participate in IEP meetings, work with general and special education

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) placement.
• Ability to work onsite in a school-based setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening, evaluation and speech therapy for qualifying students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collect documentation of student needs and progress.
• Work closely with Teachers and support staff across both general education and special education settings.
• Where applicable, supervise SLPAs.
• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care.
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Support Special Education Teachers in delivering IEP and BIP services.
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educator.
• Comfortable working with medically fragile/high behavior situations.
• Observe and communicate across varied environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
