Job summary

Tree of Knowledge in Cleveland Heights, OH, seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support clients with ASD. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy programs within a multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with BCBAs, OTs, and educators, utilize AAC/PECS, train families, and document progress in line with regulatory requirements. A Master’s degree, active state licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP are required, with ASD experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD preferred; knowledge of AAC/PECS helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for clients with ASD.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on communication, social skills, and pragmatic language.
  • Collaborate with other professionals (BCBAs, occupational therapists, educators) to ensure integrated care.
  • Train and support families and caregivers in implementing communication strategies at home.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
