  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • 2+ years of experience in language development, speech sound disorders, and feeding/oral motor skills preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working with children with ASD.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively.

  • Interpret assessment results in developing individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with the client’s needs and ABA objectives.
  • Implement evidence-based speech and language therapies, using techniques that promote language acquisition, communication development and social interaction.
  • Tailor interventions for children with ASD to enhance functional communication and reduce communication-related challenges.
  • Work alongside BCBA and other clinical professionals to create and adjust treatment plans.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and communication logs.
  • Prepare reports summarizing progress and outcomes to share with parents and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.

Join Us as a Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Children's Specialized. In this role you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication. You will apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches to enhance communication skills, social interaction, and overall quality of life for individuals receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys assessment work, values collaboration, and wants to contribute specialized communication expertise to autism evaluations. Responsibilities include administering standardized tools, scoring, documenting and contributing to integrated evaluation reports.

SLP will receive 15 minutes of Administrative time for every 45 minutes of billed time to write session notes.

What You'll Do
Assessment and Diagnosis
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess communication skills, including articulation, fluency, language comprehension, social communication, and pragmatics.
  • Interpret assessment results in developing individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with the client’s needs and ABA objectives.
Therapeutic Intervention
  • Implement evidence-based speech and language therapies, using techniques that promote language acquisition, communication development and social interaction.
  • Tailor interventions for children with ASD to enhance functional communication and reduce communication-related challenges.
Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Work alongside Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and other clinical professionals to create and adjust treatment plans, as necessary.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and communication logs.
  • Prepare reports summarizing progress and outcomes to share with parents and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
What You'll Need

Work Location & Hours:

This is an in-person, part-time role based out of our Princeton, NJ EI Center, with an expected caseload between 10-20 hours per week. Clinical sessions are conducted onsite, while notes and documentation can be completed remotely from home.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $80.00 to $85.00 per hour.

Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity. All offers are made in alignment with applicable federal and state laws.
