Job summary

InHome Therapy is hiring licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide in-home speech therapy for adults and geriatric patients in the Chicago area. You will deliver patient-centered care with a flexible schedule and autonomy over your day, supported by a Therapy-first team.

Compensation includes per-visit pay with mileage reimbursement and tools provided; benefits vary by status, with training, mentorship, and clinical support offered.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC) in good standing.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes (in-home visits).
• Basic comfort with technology (email, texting, EMR; training provided).

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients.
• Evaluate communication, cognition, and swallowing to set goals.
• Implement rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and prevention.
• Maintain accurate home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards.

• The evaluation visit rate for this role ranges from $70 - $85 per visit

• This position is paid on a per-visit basis. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Benefits eligibility varies based on employment status and weekly hours worked. Some full-time roles are eligible for medical benefits only; others are eligible for both medical benefits and PTO.
