Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist at Wilora Lake Healthcare Center. The role focuses on screenings, evaluations, and treatments for the aging population within senior living and skilled nursing settings.

You will collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop robust therapy programs, ensure timely documentation, and maintain infection control standards while supporting regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program.
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program.
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program

ASHA accreditation or equivalent
