TransPerfect Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Wilora Lake Healthcare Center to evaluate and treat residents, develop therapy plans, and supervise therapy staff. The role emphasizes adherence to state practice acts, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with the rehabilitation director.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; foreign-trained degrees must be evaluated as equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging populations.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
