Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist in Charlotte, NC to provide high-quality care for the aging population in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program.
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional independence and quality of life for members of the aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program.
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
