Job summary

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program.
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional independence and quality of life for the aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop robust therapy program.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and appropriately prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
