Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education in Avondale, AZ is hiring for the 2026-2027 school year for a Speech-Language Pathologist. Master’s degree is required; AZ SLP license/eligibility and fingerprint clearance are also needed. CFs welcome for supervision and mentorship in a school setting.

You will conduct ethically sound school-based evaluations, collaborate with families and IEP teams, and support goals aligned with curricular standards while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ethically and legally defensible AZ school-based services.
• Perform assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Target modification, accommodation and/or generalization of skills.
• Maintain daily therapy logs and data collection.
• Write IEP goals aligned to curricular standards.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting ethically and legally defensible AZ school-based services

• Consulting and collaborating with Parent/Teacher/IEP Team regarding service delivery
• Targeting modification, accommodation and/or generalization of skills
• Maintaining daily therapy logs, data collection, attendance registers
• IEPs: Writing goals in support of curricular standards
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current AZ SLP license/credential or eligibility
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
