Job summary

TransPerfect Health in North Carolina is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in senior living and skilled nursing settings. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments, document findings, and participate in team orientations under the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program.
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional independence and quality of life for aging residents.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop a robust therapy program.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education

ASHA accreditation or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program

Speech Therapy license in the state of practice
