Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role at Hibriten Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Lenoir, NC.

You will screen, evaluate, and treat residents, develop therapy programs, document care, and collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to support patient outcomes. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, onboarding, and mentoring in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program.
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments and treatments per state acts and plan of care.
• Improve functional independence and quality of life for aging residents.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Develop robust therapy programs in collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA rights guidelines.
• Prioritize patient care using sound clinical judgment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
