Job summary

Driftwood Healthcare Center-Santa Cruz is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess and treat residents within the facility, following established plans of care.

The position offers a salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 per year for PRN/on-call coverage, with a sign-on bonus and benefits including PTO and referral bonuses. California licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
