Job summary

Fremont Healthcare Center is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California to evaluate residents, develop plans of care, and provide direct treatment. The position offers a salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 per year with a sign-on bonus and benefits like PTO and referral bonuses.

California licensure and clinical competency certification are required. The SLP will administer, score, and interpret hearing and speech tests, assist with swallowing techniques, and ensure documentation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• California license to practice required.
• Certification in Clinical Competency required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
