Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist at Chandler Regional Medical Center to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, improving patient quality of life in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, creating and adjusting treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. A master’s in SLP, AZ license, and BLS are required, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed by AZ State Board Speech-Language Pathologist.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for referred patients.
• Develop and upgrade individualized treatment plans and programs.
• Coordinate plans with the interdisciplinary team and make referrals as needed.
• Apply evidence-based intervention strategies considering age, culture, and language factors.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on medical condition and risk factors.
