Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• 1–3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible.
• Speech Language Pathologist credential.
• BLS certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients with a wide range of therapeutic interventions for speech, language, hearing and dysphasia disorders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles across patient life spans.
• Oversees a comprehensive rehab program to meet physical, psychosocial and cognitive needs.
• Promotes patient and caregiver self-determination by using outside resources to maximize independence.
• Coordinates with other disciplines involved in patient care.
• Leads discharge planning aligning with evaluation and care episode goals.
• Acts as a patient advocate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
