Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The ideal candidate is licensed in New York and graduates of an accredited SLP program, with preference for those with geriatric care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Administer speech therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge.
• Observe and assess progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliant information processing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
• Maintain cooperative relationships among healthcare team members.
