Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a Full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team in New York. We offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited SLP program with a current New York State SLP license. Experience in geriatric or skilled nursing care is preferred, but new graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP License.
• Geriatric care experience preferred; new grads with relevant experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members.
