Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California. The role covers screening, evaluation, planning treatment, and conducting speech and swallowing assessments within established guidelines.

The candidate will hold an MS in Speech-Language Pathology, have or be eligible for CA licensure, and ideally possess 1 year of clinical experience along with Certification in Clinical Competency. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
