Job summary

Essentia Health Moose Lake Hospital is seeking a speech-language pathologist to evaluate, plan, treat, and implement care for patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing needs in accordance with ASHA standards and Essentia Health policies.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure. The position supports home health and clinic services with a full caseload and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from accredited speech and language pathology program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluation, develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based interventions, provide patient/caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Provide ancillary/administrative tasks including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other duties for a full caseload
• Supervise support staff and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to optimize clinical outcomes
• Coordinate with Essentia Health leadership and referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care
• Comply with organizational policies and code of conduct
• Work across departments as needed to meet patient needs
