Job summary

Norwood Towers Post Acute is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to help residents regain voice, manage safe swallowing, and strengthen cognitive‑linguistic skills. You’ll collaborate with physicians, families, and the therapy team to design personalized plans and guide restorative care.

In this on‑site role, you’ll train staff, document in Net Health and PointClickCare, and advocate for resident independence while handling lifting requirements of 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology and an active state SLP license in good standing.
• Experience with PointClickCare and Net Health is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to lift 50+ lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, and swallowing needs and craft therapy plans.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and families; train staff and CFY students.
• Ensure accurate documentation in Net Health and PointClickCare.
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning.
